About OnlineMails
A new, independent, UK-based email service built around a simple idea: your inbox should be private, calm and truly yours.
Why we started
Email is one of the most personal things we keep online, yet so much of it is paid for by adverts and by quietly building a profile of you. We wanted a plainer deal: an inbox that works well, respects your privacy, and does not treat you as the product.
OnlineMails is that inbox. It is deliberately simple. You get the parts of email you use every day, done carefully, without the clutter.
What we believe
- Your mail is yours. We do not sell it, and we do not scan it to target adverts.
- Plain over clever. A tidy inbox beats a busy one. We add features slowly and only when they help.
- Honesty first. We tell you what works today and what is still being built, rather than overpromising.
- Independent. We would rather answer to the people who use OnlineMails than to advertisers.
Where we are today
OnlineMails is a new service in 2026. Sending and receiving between OnlineMails accounts works now. Delivery to and from other email providers is being wired up, and we will say so clearly on the site as that changes. OnlineMails is operated by OnlineMails Ltd, a company launched in 2026.
We do not make up awards, badges or numbers to look bigger than we are. When we have something real to share, we will share it here.
